My name is Jennifer and I'm an artist & illustrator based in California. I spent my early years getting covered in graphite, paint, and clay. It wasn't until college that I became enamored with the natural world as well. Hands stained by art supplies quickly became hands crusted in dirt and hardened by exploration.

Combining my interests in fine art and zoological field work, I found my niche in the realm of scientific illustration. My specialty lies in detailed representational works of natural subjects, with an affinity for all things bird-related. My goal as an artist is to reintroduce the beauty of the natural world to those who spend the majority of their lives in urban areas, and to inspire them to explore the wonder just outside our windows.

I am currently available for commissions of all types: design work, fine art, pet portraits, and more. If interested, please scroll to the bottom of the page for my contact info.

We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.
